Analysing your situation

You’re suffering workplace stress yourself, or you’re interested in stress impacts on other people. The main cause of stress is work overload, or managing expectations within the constraints of time and budget. There may well be other stress factors (you can tell me about these later).

Ok. You’re not alone. Stress is becoming a huge issue in today’s world of work. If we’re stressed, it basically means that the pressures or expectations are beyond our coping capacity. When we get into that state, brain chemistry kicks in which affects our clarity of thought.  We start to go into fight or flight mode and that prioritises physical readiness over rational thinking!

So it’s no surprise that we’re not at our best when this happens. It creates a vicious cycle which can lead to a range of symptoms, from affecting our energy and motivation, to emotional and physical ill-health.

Go home early!

Mindfulness training has been proven to help you be more focused and less distracted. Simply put, this means that you can get more done with less worry.

In today’s work environment there’s more stress than ever. We’re all expected to do more in less time, or generate more business with less cost. That comes at a price: long hours and your wellbeing!

It’s a fact that work is the number 1 stress factor in our lives. 30% of us in any year will suffer anxiety to the point of taking time off. Or see the 2015 NHS survey of the impact of long working hours on stroke risk. Don’t let this be you.

So how does it work? It’s very simple. The brain develops neural pathways that equate to habits of response to similar situations. Neuroscience shows us that the brain is plastic. We can change our brains, and change our lives. It just takes regular practice of some really straightforward exercises.

So, my training programmes are designed with you in mind.

‘The most astonishing benefit I have experienced is an improved ability to cope with huge amounts of stress and pressure from my work and home demands.’  Read John’s story

simon-with-ivy-smallSimon says: ‘I’ve been a business advisor and ethical entrepreneur for 35 years, and a mindfulness practitioner for 20 years. So I know about turning stress into fun, and difficulties into opportunities. And l’m loving life more and more.’

If you’re anything like me, there are basically two things in short supply – time and money.

Over 25,000 research studies show that mindfulness training makes you more focused and more productive.

‘Happier workers were 12 percent more productive. Unhappier workers were 10 percent less productive.’  Research by Warwick University 2011

Moreover, my courses are designed for busy people with lots of demands!

How does this work? Simple, all the courses have an online format. I’ll send you regular emails that tell you exactly what to do each day. Then go online or use your mobile to check in and do 30 seconds, 5 minutes, or 20 minutes guided practice when and where it suits you.

If you need personal attention, I offer coaching too.

‘The rate and pace of change coupled with a requirement to develop a more agile, flexible and ambidextrous workforce inevitably creates a climate of uncertainty for employees.  Employees are our most important asset and taking care them by investing their wellbeing is crucial so we’re genuinely trying to help them to manage these difficult issues, increase their resilience and help them to deal better with stress.   One of the ways we’re doing this is with mindfulness training.’  Read Sue’s story at Pembrokeshire County Council

You will see results within a few weeks. In fact 94 % of my students report ‘significant’ or ‘amazing’ results.

All this and save money too! Whereas most mindfulness courses will set you back about £250 for 8 2-hour sessions, then say goodbye, my courses cost just £5 per month. You get access to a huge library of articles, guided mediations and regular updates as long as you stay a member. And you can go back and watch, read or listen as often as you like. Never miss a class!

This really could be one of the simplest ways for you to learn to get more done without the worry, and get your life back!

‘Mindfulness and meditation training in a high-stress information environment indicated improved capacity for multitasking, staying on tasks longer, less negative emotion after task performance, and improved memory for the tasks they performed.’ University of Washington Seattle, 2012

If you’d like to be one of those people who get their work done, without worrying, and go home early, I’m here to help you now.

So here are three course options. All come with full membership access. You can upgrade to the longer courses at any time, and cancel any time.

Why not try it? For the price of couple of coffees a month, you just might get your life back.
