Analysing your situation
Your team is showing signs of workplace stress. The main cause of stress is work overload such managing expectations within the constraints of time and budget, or there may be other stress factors (you can tell me about these later).
This is all too common. Stress is becoming a huge issue in today’s world of work. Stress essentially means that the pressures or expectations are beyond our coping capacity. When we get into that state, brain chemistry kicks in which affects clarity of thought. We start to go into fight or flight mode and that prioritises physical readiness over rational thinking!
So it’s no surprise that teams start to get into difficulty when this happens. It creates a vicious cycle which can lead to a range of personal symptoms, from affecting energy and motivation to emotional and physical ill-health. The result can be team dysfunction, low productivity, and conflict.
Module 1 and 2 of our 9 week course focus on learning how to stay calm and interrupt the trigger/response cycle, while Modules 3 and 4 focus on emotional intelligence and empathy.

Research by McCubbin et al Nov 2014 showed a positive impact on physical and mental health, work productivity, and reduction in healthcare utilization, at least for one year afterwards.
